 In March 2005, a UV waste water treatment plant with a capacity of 330 000 m3/day was commenced in the famous industrial centre of Gumi, Gyeongsangbuk-do province of South Korea. The city accommodates major production facilities of South Korean household names. The “LIT” company supplied and commissioned the plant based on vertical open-channel modules using low pressure high output amalgam lamps.
