UVGI modules for ventilation systems
UVGI modules are designed to disinfect air as part of
sanitary and hygienic treat-ment aimed at preve-nting spread of mass infectious
diseases, such as influenza, tu-berculosis, hepatitis, Legionnaires' disease
etc., in buildings.
Distinguishing features of UVGI units:
- Can be fitted into ventilation systems of various cross sections and
capacities
- Can be easily retrofitted into ventilation systems
- Allowed to operate with people and animals present in the room
- Made of galvanized or stainless steel
- No ozone formation
- Simple to maintain. Easy access to lamps
- Long operation life
- Routine maintenance includes lamp replacement and dust cleaning. No
qualified personnel are needed.
Applications:
- Multi-storey buildings and facilities
- Business and trade centers
- Medical, educational, sports establishments
- Railway stations, airports, metro
- Production facilities
At customer's request extra components can be supplied, such as indicators,
remote control systems, protection screens.

UVGI modules for industrial conditioning systems
UV modules, designed to be fitted into industrial
conditioning systems and ventilation ducts, have capacities up to 35,000 cubic
meters per hour.
Employment of the UV units in industrial processes provides sanitary and
hygienic welfare by decreasing air mic-roorganism levels 3-4 fold.
LIT UV modules allow to cut down on the use of conventional-treatment
chemicals by 5 to 7 times.
Location of a UV module near filters and conditioning systems' heat
exchangers helps combat the microbial fouling problems which ultimately results
in effective disinfection, cooling or heating of air and adds to reliability of
conditioning systems.
Distinguishing features of UVGI units:
- Safe for both humans and animals
- High UV intensity
- Amalgam lamps developed and produced by LIT
- No ozone formation
- Environment-friendly
- UVGI modules are made of galvanized or stainless steel
- Easily retrofitted into existing systems
